The Process
The Scoop
Waterlily is available for a free initial phone conversation or a 20-minute meet and greet to determine if we’re the right fit. We want to get a sense of your project, timing, requirements, and budgets. Our goal is to design and fully implement the complete project. We will share our process and discuss our contract. With a signed contract and initial payment, we are off and designing.
The Plan
Here’s where our super design and project management powers really kick in. During this phase, we want info. The more the better. We ask that all decision-makers give their input to ensure that every voice is heard. With your style file and measurements in hand, we develop a design plan, source materials, and collect initial pricing. Working toward your budget and design goals, we gather the experts, like your contractors, builders, and architects, whoever is needed to get the job done as efficiently as possible.
The Work
This is the fun part. We bring all the design details together. To help you visualize your space, we present a scaled plan in 3D. Then we set out the swatches so you can touch the fabrics, see the finishes, and make selections. We always present lots of choices so you can find just the right mix of patterns, colors, and textures for your interior. Once you’ve approved the plan and pricing, we’ll work our magic, collaborating with you every step of the way. Not to worry, we don’t believe in surprises, and would never make a purchase or a big design decision without your consent. We have your back and work behind-the-scenes to make your experience seamless.
The Big Reveal
This is when you ‘ooh’, ‘ahh’, and cry happy tears. We want you to experience the excitement of seeing your brand-new, beautiful space for the first time. So, we have a no peeking policy during installation. While you’re away, the designers will play. We’ll take care of all the finishes and pops in the room. Then it’s your turn to pop the champagne.
